Delightful romantic cottage near to the Hook Peninsula with charming traditional features
This much-loved detached cottage is full of charm, a place where traditional cottage features meet modern aesthetics. A one-bedroom house, the Coach House is designed for couples and is ideal for a romantic getaway or a honeymoon! It has a private, south-facing patio with garden furniture and a gas barbeque from which you can observe the picturesque patchwork of fields in the surrounding Barrow Valley. The living area is a large open plan space with a high ceiling and wooden beams, meaning that the cottage is often flooded with light. This area contains the full-size and fully-equipped kitchen, dining area and comfortable lounge area. A large arched window frames the vista of the courtyard garden, which can be seen from the leather couch and arm chair in the lounge. The electric stove in this room also adds to the atmosphere. It is a wonderfully bright, cheerful and a very restful room! From the kitchen there are lovely views of the surrounding countryside and the sunny private patio and barbeque area. The kitchen has lots of storage space, and has electric hob and oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, coffee-maker, toaster, electric kettle, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, iron, ironing board, CD/radio, etc. There is a stylish, extendable dining table with seating for four. From the living area a traditional glass-panelled door at the top of a few steps will bring you to the bathroom, which has a bath and shower, toilet and wash hand basin. The bedroom is further down the hall. The bedroom has Queen-size sleigh bed with matching bespoke free-standing furniture and delightful views of the garden. Attractive draping behind the headboard complete the fairytale image! The Coach House has Satellite TV, a DVD player, a radio/CD player and you will also have unlimited access to wireless broadband at no extra cost. The oil-fired central heating, bed linen, towels, electricity and Wi Fi costs are also included in the price.
