Superb self-catering Irish cottage in award-winning garden near Dunbrody Famine Ship, JFK Ancestral Home and JFK Arboretum, close to New Ross in County WexfordDoyle's Cottage is named after past occupant, Martin Doyle, a blacksmith who worked on the farm for many years - always good-humoured, and whistling while he worked! This lovely spacious cottage is located in a pretty courtyard garden with its own private garden and patio area. The south-facing private patio with garden furniture and a gas barbeque. This cottage is larger than the adjoining Dairy Cottage, but it also sleeps four people. The entrance hallway with natural stone walls leads into a large well equipped kitchen/dining area, and there is a large separate lounge. The lounge has plenty of comfortable seating and lovely wooden furniture and there is a writing desk and a well-stocked bookcase. The working stove makes this room the focal point of the house - perfect for relaxing evenings in front of the fire! Doyle's Cottage has a large modern kitchen, equipped to the highest standards with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, coffee-maker, electric kettle, toaster, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, iron & ironing board and a dining table with seating for four. The Master bedroom on the first floor has a queen-sized bed and also an en-suite bathroom with shower. The room is decorated with lovely stencils and wall hangings. The twin bedroom is also on the first floor, as well as the main bathroom which has a bath with a shower fitting. A cot and high chair are available on request at no extra cost. The cottage has satellite TV, a DVD player, a radio/CD Player. It has oil-fired central heating and a wood or peat-burning stove. Electricity, central heating, bed linen and towels are included in the price. There is also unlimited wireless broadband available for free.
