Romantic Irish self-catering cottage with a beautiful private garden

Granary Cottage is a lovingly converted former corn store with natural stone walls and beamed ceilings, which was originally built in 1899.  This romantic self-catering cottage also comprises a canopied bed and a beautiful private garden.

It is a perfect base for any holiday at ten minutes drive from New Ross, the gateway to Ireland's South East, which borders Wexford, Waterford and Kilkenny.

The first floor comprises a spacious master bedroom with beamed ceiling and a large 5 ft. canopied bed. The bedroom extends into a cosy lounge area, complete with antique furniture, easy chairs and a wood burning stove.

The second floor is a delightful attic bedroom, which is loved by children. It has two single beds separated by curtains and decorated throughout with stencils. and a separate toilet.  There is also another single bedroom on the ground floor, just off of the living room. The main bathroom on the ground floor has toilet and shower facilities.

The fully-equipped kitchen has an electric hob and oven (as well as an attractive traditional Aga-style range which can be used in the winter), microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, iron, ironing board, coffee-maker, CD/radio. There is also a washing machine and tumble dryer.

The lounge area with seating for five has a new large flat screen satellite TV with Irish and English channels and lots more, a DVD player and complimentary wireless broadband internet access.

The cottage is located in a large private richly-planted garden with flagstone paths leading to both the patio and the private parking area. Attractive glass-topped patio furniture, seat cushions, sun parasols and the gas barbeque ensure that you will be able to make the most of the beautiful setting!
