It is a perfect base for a holiday at ten minutes drive from New Ross, gateway to Ireland's South East, which includes counties Wexford, Waterford and Kilkenny.

A vintage door with small glass panes leads into the fully-equipped kitchen which has an electric hob and oven (as well as an attractive traditional Aga-style range which can sometimes be used in the winter), microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, iron, ironing board, coffee-maker, CD/radio. There is also a washing machine and a tumble dryer

The dining table seats five, and the adjoining lounge area has a couch and two easy chairs and an antique writing desk The lounge has a new large flat screen satellite TV with Irish and English channels and lots more, a DVD player and complimentary wireless broadband internet access.

There is a single bedroom on the ground floor, alongside which is a bathroom with a shower enclosure and toilet.

The spacious master bedroom on the first floor has a beamed ceiling and an impressive 5 ft canopied bed and the large bedroom extends to a delightful lounge area, complete with antique furniture, easy chairs and a wood burning stove.  A large window has wonderful views of the Barrow Valley with its rolling countryside and patchwork of fields, trees and distant hills.  A new addition to the master bedroom is a beautiful en-suite bathroom with bath, shower and toilet.

The second floor has a delightful attic bedroom, much-loved by children. It has two single beds separated by curtains and decorated with pretty stencils. There is a separate toilet on this level.
